8.7/15kV Unarmored Copper Power Cable
Multi-core PVC cable with steel wire armour (SWA) are mainly used for power distribution in power stations, industrial installation and switchgears, as well as in local mains. Apply to shafts, water and soil, able to bear the larger positive pressure. Power and auxiliary fixed wiring cables for use in power networks, underground, outdoor and indoor applications and for use in cable ducting.
8.7/15kV Unarmored Copper Power Cable Factory
1.Application
The cable is used in electric transmission and disirbution system operating at rated voltage of 0.6/1, 1.8/3, 3.6/6, 6/6, 6/10, 8.7/10. 8.7/15, 12/20, 18/30, 21/35, 26/35kV.
This standard also covers their accessories. The cables must have an extruded solid insulation and may contain longitudinal water-blocking properties such as swellable tapes and powders if the installation conditions demand it.
The armoured cable are mainly used for power distribution in power stations, industrial installation and switchgears, as well as in local mains. Apply to shafts, water and soil, able to bear the larger positive pressure. Able to bear certain traction during installation. For fixed installation underground, in interior premises, cable ducts, in the open air and in water if no risk of any mechanical damage is to be expected. Laying single core cable in magnetic ducts is not allowed.
